I read about this English guy that found a set for 5000 pounds. His blade had a lot of HRC parts. The used items market is great in Europe.
As the 14 suspensions. I guess it depends of the area you ride in and your style. Here in Texas, we have a lot of hills, descending and ascending turns. It didn't take long for me to notice the vagueness of the front forks. Just yesterday, I heard the back wheel spin faster (went airborne for a second ). A quicker turn in is also very nice and since I'm running a 19x20 setting on my brake MC, I need stiffer front suspensions so I don't blow through the stroke. That being said, I would say that if you are happy with the current set up, don't spend the $$.
